After escaping the close quarters of a hot and stuffy van, we are relieved to be immediately met with a breath of cold, yet refreshing air.

Light peeks through the dense foliage, creating a dynamic interplay between darkness and brightness.

Left to our own devices, we were lucky enough to see a rainbow, geyers, craters, new growth, and endless expanses of rocky terrain on our self-guided tour.

With the blink of an eye the brilliantly bright sun disappears.
